There are many people who makes anime a center of their lives wherein all they do is to collect anime and dream about anime just like what an addict does when they took drugs and after a moment hallucinates and go crazy. As an anime fan, being too intact with anime is much better than drinking alcohol as a past time. But have you ever wondered why ANIME is addicting?

In fact, I have read an article Why is Anime Addicting? by Henry Hsieh some reasons on what makes an anime addicting.

In his article, he said that the characters, plot, and animation are the factors that leaves a trademark on the minds of the viewers. He said that the way each of the characters were created, the plots were made, and how it was drawn is not far realistic which enables him as an anime fan to easily relate with the story and each of the characters. It gives a twists in its story and sometimes requires a deeper understanding which will make viewer to use their minds and test their intellects. He also said that although they are in 2D format, sometimes they are drawn even better than the ones that are created in 3D. Even the way each of the characters were dressed makes a person to watch for more.

The story follows the adventures of Jimmy Kudo, a prodigious young detective who was inadvertently transformed into a child after being poisoned.

It is the story of a high school student who discovers a supernatural book, the "Death Note", dropped on Earth by a shinigami (a god of death) named Ryuk. The Death Note grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose name and face they know, by writing the name in the notebook while picturing their face. The series centers around Light's attempt to create and rule a world "cleansed of evil" as "God" using the notebook, and the efforts of a detective known as L to stop him.

Anime really is like a drug which can make a person crazy for the fact that once you started watching it, you will also crave for more because you will always find a way just to catch up for more episodes. Just by looking at the characters and how they were drawn catches attention. Whenever I watch anime, I also get attracted by their looks like those with really nice guys which makes me wished to be one of their leading ladies and the cute girls too. I'm always attracted whenever I see those girl characters with extraordinary hair styles and nice clothes, most especially when they are in uniform. Sometimes I wished I have it too.. The characters were artistically made. Even just by looking at them, one can make a story of his own. Just like the author, I'm also after the graphics. Sometimes I was thinking if these anime were also made in 3D, then maybe more people would be attracted. If it looks good in a 2D, then it will be much better if it is in 3D. Thinking of it makes me more impressed to all those anime artists.
Anime does not only entertain but it also makes a person to use their beautiful minds. Some anime really requires the use of ones' intellect especially if an anime is about investigating things like Detective Conan and mysteries such as Death Note. I have tried to watch these anime but I'm not really used into this kind of genre although this helps.

Honestly,I had a hard time coping up with Death note because it has many twist on its story. If I will have the chance to meet its creator, I will really congratulate him for giving me a headache.

I am also certain that another reason for being an anime addict is the story. It provides an extraordinary plot which really is the heart of an anime. Anime may either be in romance, action, supernatural, mystery, psychological thriller, military, and adventure. Honestly, I doesn't matter whatever genre an anime is as long as it provides lessons, inspirations, and entertainment to a viewer. Anime always has some hidden story that has to do with bloodlines and traits like story's wherein the father died and then there's the son who will continue to live to fulfill his father's dream or to be a man that his father dreams of just like Naruto. Even though he's already alone, he still looks at the positive side of life to prove himself and achieve his dream to become a Hokage which can also happen in the real life because anyone can also be a Hokage of his/her own country. Anime is not just an anime because it can sometimes be a reflection of one's life.

After reading the article, I can say that even if an anime is just a simple drawing which can only move on tv, it could still give an inspiration to all the persons who are also battling and struggling in the real life. To those who hate anime, mind your own business..
